Drums of WAR in Nigeria and Ethiopia, both countries in BIG trouble
It seems is a crime being in Africa, more dangerous if you are an Africa National from either Nigeria or Ethiopia as but countries are currently in a big mess blowing drums of war from every possibility in a time when the world is yet to recover from the global pandemic
Who cares to help them as both countries are filled with corrupt politicians with a high rate of human rights abuses from the government people, elected to safely protect life and property but tune to be a mess to their nationals
With zero plans from both government to restore peace, give hope to the hopeless national, this happening is not far again from the drums of war not necessary at this modern days
It saddens me as AfriNOTES Reporters takes you on this top but sad story on the happenings in Nigeria, in the West, is Africa’s most populous country, follows by Ethiopia, in the East, which is Africa’s second-most populous nation, with about 2170.6 miles or 3493 kilometers and 300 meters separate both countries.
Both countries are vest with bad leadership, corruption, human rights abuse. terrorism and many other menaces currently putting both countries on the wrong side of history while their government does nothing only but to continuously loot the national resource to the detriment of the dying masses in countries where the future is been killed by today bad leadership
Is terrible that the drums of WAR in Nigeria and Ethiopia mean nothing to those in power
As I write to you both nations are in trouble, and the Biden administration In United States is losing patience after he has spoken out to both countries severally. President Joe Biden is losing out.
For example in Ethiopia, the humanitarian crises in Tigray and elsewhere, including in Oromia, have drawn international attention. Ethiopia has been the Biden administration’s greatest focus on the continent with several envoys deployed and many phone calls, statements, and pleas made now and then
The US and UN are warning that the country may soon be facing a major famine, even as Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, a Nobel Peace Prize winner refuses to allow humanitarian access to the region.

The crises in Nigeria has multiplied, as one of the peaceful religion being the southeastern states are currently in chaos as people of Biafra demands a referendum to exit from Nigeria and have their sovereignty as a Biafra nation
The tensions are rising rapidly as well over the unsustainable level of insecurity with terrorism in the Northeast and kidnappings all across the country, unknown gunmen in the southeast, is so sad that no good news is coming from both nations
The widening level of poverty, hunger has spark and the skyrocketing human rights abuses by the Buhari lead administration. A few weeks ago, Secretary of State Antony Blinken lambasted the Buhari government over its appalling human rights abuses and lack of accountability and fairness.

Also just a few days ago, In one day, Ahmed Gulak was murdered, unidentified people have been killed in the southeast, a legislator was kidnapped in Nasarawa, about 200 Islamic school children were abducted and the governor there left the country to somewhere else for reasons best known to him
An INECN office, police stations, and an immigration center were all burnt down, markets were set on fire in both Lagos and Enugu state, all this in one day happening in Nigeria, and no words directly from president Buhari to the poor masses

On the day that follows the other day, Justice Standly Nnaji was killed by unknown gunmen in Enugu, a Presidential candidate [Omoyele Sowore] was short in Abuja by a female police officer, unknown numbers of Nigerians abducted by bandits in Zamfara, many were massacred in Benue state Nigeria
Herdsmen killed 9 other people in Enugu and follow by killing more people in Ebonyi state, a state where the ruling governor David Umahi is more in love with the Hersmen when compare with the life of his people
In Nasarawa also herdsmen killed a pregnant woman, in Nigeria with the silence of the Federal government it seems like Nigeria don’t have government and this crisis are drumming wars in a time when the world is moving towards recovering from the global pandemic, these happening in Nigeria and Ethiopia is very saddened and uncalled for
President Muhammadu Buhari, an ally and associate of Saudi Arabia by religion, came to power in 2015, almost mocking former President Goodluck Jonathan, and vowing to reposition Nigeria, end Boko haram in 30 days, make 1 naira equal to 1 dollar, and many more failed promises, as a regional force for good.
He promised to crush Boko Haram, stop daily kidnappings, rebuild the crumbing economy, fix the power grid, and combat corruption tooth and nail, jail most of the corrupt politicians, and many more

This is six years plus of his leadership, he has achieved none of that. Only but things have fallen apart more, things have gone from bad to worse, Nigerians moved from frying pan to fire, and now, he hardly trusts even his Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The Biden administration is outraged that he has gone after the Shi’ites, a rival religious group, massacring hundreds of them, and jailing their leader, and refusing to release him even with several court orders.
Things are so bad in Nigeria, that these days, Nigerians who spoke glowingly about Buhari six years ago want him gone, and his supporters are warning that a former President is trying to oust him a possible fact and he is tamed about this. The United States may soon be drawn into a big crisis there in Nigeria
