Method #1. The Use Of Airtel mobile App
Yes you know we are in the era of Mobile, virtually all network services providers now have a mobile app, including Bharti Airtel Limited but well known as My Airtel App
For you to use My Airtel mobile app, just quickly visit Google’s play store, that is if you are using Android mobile device and for those using iPhone, to also visit the App store and download the Apple My Airtel App version compatible with their iPhones
Once you are in Google’s play store or App store, just run a quick search on the store, using the keyword “My Airtel App” from the search module. Though in my case I will be using an Android Mobile Device. See screen shop below
So once your search query is up, you too see My Airtel app “Airtel Africa” this was possible because the mobile technology has identified your mobile IP as browsing from Africa, so it has served you the right Airtel app for Africa nationals.
So quickly click on the [INSTALL] button and allow the app to install on your mobile phone and once the my airtel app has been successfully installed, know that you now have the app for checking your airtel data live on your mobile phone.
After downloading and installing the app, NEXT is to open the app and input your details such as your phone number. Afterward, input your passwords to sign in to your account. If you do not have an existing account, then you will need to create a new account, using the create account menu available on the Airtel app
Once you have been successfully login, everything you need is right there before you, for checking of airtel data balance, kindly click on your dashboard. Your dashboard will show your data balance, data limit, and expiry date respectively. Method #2. Use USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) code
To use the USSD code, open the “phone” app on your phone. Most times, it usually has a green icon on your phone which looks like an old phone. Tap the icon to open it.
Once you open it, dial *121# and click send. A list of options will be displayed, select or type “5” which signifies “balanced” and click on the ”send” button.
This will lead you to a list of many other options. Enter “1” to check your data balance or “2” to check your daily data balance.
The method is too long for you? To skip the menu, just dial *121*51# to check your data balance or *122*1541# to check your daily data balance. using the Airtel USSD code, the code works for both checkings of your airtel data balance for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks respectively
Method #3. Using Prepaid Data on Airtel’s Website
You can check your airtel data balance through their website. Just visit Airtel in for Airtel India, if you are using Airtel Nigeria, you have to type airte ng using any of the web browsers such as chrome, PHX browser. Opera mini, etc
Once the website pops up live on the browser, click the icon that looks like a person positioned at the top right corner of the website. This opened the login page.
Enter your details such as your mobile phone number or service ID and password. Then click on login. If you don’t have an account, you will have to create a new user account in other to leverage the Airtel web app
On the successful creation of your airtel web account, Just click on “register” and you will be directed to fill in your details like phone number and password.
In case you forgot your password, you can also recover it using the “forgot password and recovering feature” and then follow the on-screen instructions.
If you are having multiple Airtel account, you can click on the account you want to check the data balance in the left sidebar.
Your data balance appears below “Account overview”. Search for the box “Prepaid”. Your data balance will be displayed in MB and the data billing cycle will also be displayed respectively.
Method #4. How to check your broadband data balance
To check your broadband data balance, type http://www.airtel.in/smartbyte-s/page.html in a web browser.
Log in your details, however, if you logged into the website using your broadband connection, you don’t need to log in.
You are automatically logged in. But if you are visiting the website using a different internet connection, you need to log in using your details such as ID service number, phone number, and password. Then click on “Log in” and you are good to go.
When you click on it an icon that resembles a computer monitor displays and is labeled ” Choose your product”. Click it. Once you do so, your data balance is displayed at the top of the page.
