Just today 16th December 2020 about 3 police stations has been set ablaze in Anambra state in reaction to police brutality after multiple reports has it that a policeman attached to Igboukwu police station unit killed a Motorcyclist at the early hours of today
The state government, for the very first time, came out (openly) to condemn the police brutality, the unjust killing of the Motorcyclist and promise to provide emotional and financial support to the decease family. Below are excerpts from the Governor’s outcry

In the Governor’s Voice! I want to assure Ndi Anambra and residents that the policeman responsible has been taken into custody, he has been disarmed and will face the law

The government will assist the family of the deceased and provide them with the necessary emotional and financial support.
It’s always painful to lose a loved one in such circumstances. I am directly in touch with the police authorities and I am being briefed on the situation.
Ndi Anambra, burning of police stations, vehicles and destruction of property is not the way to resolve this.
Anambra has been calm and peaceful and we want our people to remain calm as justice must be surely served. the Government Anambra state house press release as of 7 pm 16th December 2020
Before then, About 3 Police station has been burned down across the state, the Igbougwu police station and both Ekwuluobia and Oko police station have all gone down. with an attempt to break the Anambra state prison yard located at Ekwulobia

In June 2015, it was reported that 47 Boko Haram suspects where transferred to the Ekwulobia prison on orders of the Presidents Buhari
The follows with the outcry of the Ndi Anambra, it was later reported that the Boko Haram suspects in the said Ekwulobia prison in Anambra state where later relocated out of the prison in October
Some people still believe that not all the inmate, the Boko Haram suspect where relocated out from the Anambra prison, some reports has it that few were left at the Ekwulobia Prison and today, there was an attempt to break the said prison by the angry youth who were demonstrating their anger towards police brutality and the killing of the Morocycliest
The Ekwulobia Prison is a medium-security prison in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State. The prison has an operational housing capacity of 85 inmates. but currently decongested

The facility was opened in 2010 and initially had 25 prisoners before it was decongested

Is because Anambra was carm with passed end sars protest that’s why a police man have the mind to shot an innocent man
Not only justice the policeman must brought forward and be killed too if you truly want peace in this anambra again .
We joined hand all the whole Beni youth to protect Neni police station when agulu boys want to destroy it but now they turned against us we can not die peacefully in our mother land. Any police is wanted till they provide the killer although he is not my relative but we are all human beings.
