In his voice to all Nigeria, the IGP ensured Nigerians that the Nigeria police force is working day and night to bring about lasting peace across Nigeria, so that life activities and business will return to normalcy
People irrespective of tribe, religion, as long as you are a Nigeria can leave in any part of Nigeria and as long as you are a law-abiding citizen you can live and carry out your business peaceful
The IGP acknowledges that It is no longer news that Nigeria is experiencing a high level of insecurities, but ensures Nigerians that they are on it.
However, the IGP Usman Baba has assured Nigerian’s that the police are making efforts towards ensuring that Nigerian’s can sleep with their two eyes closed.
Usman Baba disclosed this on Wednesday, June 30, before the house of representatives committee on police affairs. In his statement, he also showed appreciation to the ninth assembly for the commitment towards making their job better.
“We are here to interact with the chairman and his members in the House of Representatives who are also piloting the affairs of the Nigerian police to discuss ways and means of making our job easier and better, and also understand ourselves that we are all working towards the same goal to bring betterment in policing so that Nigerians can go about their lawful businesses
Our mission is to ensure that Nigerians can sleep with their two eyes closed, Nigerians can enjoy better security and better movement in this country.
We are also committed to giving our best in terms of providing the desired leadership to the police personnel in this country,” Usman Baba, June 30th 2021
We are grateful for what we have seen so far as a level of commitment from the ninth assembly towards making our job better, and by extension, making Nigerians benefit from better security management.
