JUST IN: President Buhari Emotional Christmas Message To Nigerians Amid Insecurity and COVID 19
Read It, Feel It from the pen of the President: Federal Republic of Nigeria. President Muhammadu Buhari as he pens down an emotional Christmas message to Nigerians amid insecurity and COVID 19 ravaging the country
In His Voice
I empathize with you all, most important to our Christian brothers and sisters, all Nigerians life matters even as we face widespread insecurity, increase in the number of COVID 19 cases.
I will Please everyone residing in Nigeria to be very careful this festive season, don’t travel if you can, for now, avoid large gatherings, and if you’re to go into a crowded place don’t forget to wear and always use your facemask, adhere to all COVID 19 protocols
Dispare the challenges, it’s a joyous occasion of the Christmas 2020, the commemorating of the birth of Jesus
Globally, To Christians and Non-Christian communities, the Christmas season is the season of love, joy, peace, gifting, hope, thankful, goodwill, forgiveness, and imminent salvation. to express the birth, the gift of Jesus Christ among us, are very much needed in our Dear Country Nigeria
At this very time, Nigeria is confronted with a diverse challenge like the high spread of COVID 19 cases, RISING SPATE OF ARMED BANDITRY, KIDNAPPINGS, INSURGENCY, ECONOMIC RECESSION, Hunger, Hate Speach, etc
From my very heart of my soul, I wish to enjoin fellow compatriots to appropriate the hope that comes with Christmas and reinvest trust in this Administration’s determination and a strong commitment to restoring peace, security, a good health system, quality education, and prosperity to our dear country Nigeria
I strongly believe that we shall overcome, all the menace facing us as a country today, we shall come out victorious when we believe and work together as one for a common goal, the good, the better, and the best country we once dreamed of is assured
Yes under my watch, the Federal Government will continue to provide the needed support within available resources to the gallant members of our armed forces and security agencies as they confront threats to our citizens.
These are people who have laid down their lives to protect our life and property. I deeply appreciate and will always support them
While I commend them for their efforts so far, I urge them to do more to checkmate increasing incidents of security threats especially in the northern parts of Nigeria
I appreciate them all for their display and tact expertise used that led to the recent return of the abducted schoolboys of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, of Kastina State, which will remain a milestone in the annals of the country. I appreciate them all
As we work more in providing security for all Nigerians and residents in our dear country Nigeria. protecting lives and properties remains an article of faith. It formed a vital segment of this Administration’s three-point agenda right from inception, and we must follow through with it.
In good conscience I carry the top responsibility to secure lives and properties and all Nigerians life matters, I feel the pain that Nigerians are going through
It’s indeed a hard time with the widespread insecurity, pandemic, recession, and COVID, I feel pained
I feel pained each time a breach of peace and security occurs in any part of the nation. I am even more distressed when our youths, especially school children, are the targets and victims of mindless and malevolent elements in the society
As a parent, I know what it takes to have children, be parents and be responsible, these target on our innocent Children breaks my heart the more.
I share the emotional torture day and night, I share the agony of parents and guardians go through whenever their children and wards fall into the cruel hands of these enemies of decency and good society. I feel pained
So I plead with fellow compatriots to give our military and other security agencies more time, cooperation, and support by volunteering credible intelligence/information on activities of armed bandits, insurgents, and another criminal element within their communities to put an end to this plight on our security landscape
We are working round the clock and will remain focused on following the complex, multi-dimensional route to reducing the incidents of insecurity to the barest minimum
Our people must be free to live, work, and move without fear, let or hindrance. Our people must sleep with all eyes closed, without fear of attack in any form, at home, road or farmland, Our people must be secured
This is crucial not only to enthroning an atmosphere of calm and social cohesion But for the economy to grow
So let join hands with love this season of goodwill, the season of love and joy, to renew our faith in the ability of this Administration to make a lasting difference in the lives of our hardworking people.
Nigeria will be great and secure again. Our social intervention measure and other economic policies are already yielding positive results, so I believe in just a short time, the economy will rise again
For the main time
Merry Christmas To All Nigerians
