Millions Of Nigerians May Lose Their Phone Numbers In 2021
As the Nigeria Government through one of her ministries Unit in charge of Telecommunication regulator, the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC) ordered all mobile phone users to link their mobile GSM Numbers SIM devices to their National Identity Numbers (NIM).
This is happening in a country where millions of people are yet to get their National Identification Card after years of enrolment and waiting for tirelessness with no results
The Nigeria Government people, highly corrupt politicians, has now woke up to their responsibility, but with new twists to cut off all SIM Card not link to NIM by end of February 2021

The Nigeria Government have early warned that all mobile GSM Number users should link their SIM card not later than 30th of December or face the consequences of losing their SIM Card, a plan that was later hock and was extended till February 2021
In A Press Briefing, the new directive is that subscribers now have until February ends to comply with the requirement and link up their SIM Card to their NIM. as failure to do so will result in SIM Phone lines being cut off from the network
The Government people and the Security executive in Nigeria, Are of the opinion that the SIM linking to NIM registration is a way in which the government can curb the insecurity facing the entire nation
This is one step to curb terror attacks by militant group Boko Haram, fish out bandits, and make Nigeria secure once again, Said the Government Federal Republic of Nigeria

There is the possibility of the Government to block up to 161.5 million GSM Number (Mobile) telephone lines by late February 2021, if the federal government and NIM Failed to widen up on NIM Card registration as millions of Nigerians are yet to register
While Millions of Nigerians who have enrolled for NIM Card for months and years past are still yet to collect their NIM Card from the government
With the extension on the deadline to telecommunications to link and register all SIM Card to Individual NIM extended till February
Nigeria National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) now face heavy decentralization with a target to enroll over 200 million NIM registration in weeks, and has license additional 203 public and private sectors agents n the past few weeks, to register people for National Identity card nationwide
