Paul Onuachu Nigeria Football International Win’s The Ebony Shoe Award 2021

Amidst the Twitter saga going on in Nigeria, a 25years old Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu in Belgium has won the 2020/21 Ebony Shoe Award.
Onuachu claimed the award after beating his Genk teammate Théo Bongonda(18 goals) and bagged six assists in 39 games in all competitions; RSC Anderlecht’s duo of Albert Sambi Lokonga (Congo) and Club Brugge’s Angola defender and Lucas Nmecha (Nigeria).
Onuachu has become the fifth Nigerian to hold this title after Daniel Amokachi (1992), Victor Ikpeba (1993), Daniel Amokachi (1994), Godwin Okapara (1995), and Celestine Babayaro (1996).
He ended the season as Belgian Jupiler League top goal scorer and best player of the season. The award is given in Belgium annually to footballers of African origin.
