Chad in CENTRAL AFRICA: As you have already read, the president of Chad has just been gunned down by the rebels. The stunning killing comes only days after he was declared the winner of the April 11 presidential election.
He had been in power for more than 30 years and used to go to the battlefield himself. His son, 37, has taken overpower.

According to the Military reports, Deby’s 37-year-old son, Mahamat Idress Deby Itno will lead an 18-month transitional council. The military also imposed a nightly curfew of 6 pm across the nation

How Deby Came To Power
Deby came to power in 1990 when his rebel troops overthrew President Hissene Habre. Deby was then the army commander in chief and have overthrown the then president, declared himself president and ruled for more than 3 decade until his death April 20th 2021
How Deby Was Killed: The report is still to reveal where and how the Chadian leader was killed, He has been battling Boko Haram terror groups and rebels opposing his rule, The army did not give clear and enough information on where and how he was killed, the only information announced to the public is that he was killed in the battlefield
