President Joe Biden Remember Black Wall Street, Reminisce Black slave 100 years after in a fact sheet
It was On Tuesday in the United State of America as U.S. President Joe Biden prove to Americans once again that he is the right choice to returning the masses hopes, uniting Americans irrespective of colors for the good of the American people home and abroad
He did what no American President has reported to had done in the past as he decided to travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to reminisce and acknowledge one of America’s greatest massacres against black people over 100 years ago
He went there to see things by himself and also to propose a way out. Back then, 100 years ago those black people had been forced into slavery in America, and had come from Nigeria, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Ghana, and elsewhere in Africa.
They came not by their own choices, many of them had been kidnap in Africa by white merchants, many sold into slavery by Africans to the white merchants, military, and missionaries, some but few sold by their family members in Africa to the whites as slaves, and in one way and the other, they all find themself in the United States as slaves
So on Tuesday President Biden, left Washington DC and traveled to Tulsa to speak the truth, a very scarce resource, if not the nonexistent resource in American history.
But let’s start from the beginning so that you can understand the horrors that happened in the United States years ago, and why Americans buried it, tried to erase it from the minds and their books, and did what is often best done in America
Tell a false story to the world. The Biden White House put it best when it said, “One hundred years ago, the thriving black community of Greenwood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, known as “Black Wall Street,” was ruthlessly attacked by a violent white supremacist mob.
An estimated 300 Black Americans were killed and another 10,000 were left destitute and homeless. The destruction wrought on the Greenwood neighborhood and its families was followed by laws and policies that made recovery nearly impossible.
The streets were redlined, locking Black Tulsans out of homeownership and access to credit. Federal highways built through the heart of Greenwood cut off families and businesses from economic opportunity.
And chronic disinvestment by the federal government in Black entrepreneurs and small businesses denied Black Wall Street a fair shot at rebuilding.
These are the stories of Greenwood, but they have echoes in countless Black communities across the country.” If you did not fully understand it, this is what it means. In Tulsa, Oklahoma, there was a rich Black community, a rich neighborhood where Blacks were thriving, owning businesses and White folks got jealous, used the false excuse of a Black man reportedly harassing a White girl on an elevator, and decided to loot their businesses, burn down their houses, and bomb the entire place. it was real so the heart is broken and many people were dehumanized
Back then the American police supplied them weapons and joined them in bombing and massacring Blacks. They buried them in mass graves with no names nor identities.
It did not end there, next, they enacted laws that made it impossible for them to own anything again after looting and burning all they had, they impose the law on them and made the black poorer and hopeless again
Then Finally, they erased it from their books and classrooms. They lied about it and made sure no American President ever traveled there to shine a light on it. And no one did for 100 years not until a few days ago. President Joe Biden went there by himself
Yes, that was on Tuesday when President Biden became the first American President to travel there and said a “massacre” happened here and we need to acknowledge it.
It was not the only massacre in America, it was just one of the greatest massacres against Black people in America. Black people who came from Africa were regularly massacred here in America and the incidents were erased, the school never want to quote it in their history, the media are not supposed to report about it, and no one is permitted to speak about it
In a fact sheet, the Biden White House detailed what the President intends to do about it and how he intends to bridge that racial divide. you can find the entire fact sheet below. stay safe and be happy for life is for the living
