US Bodyguard, Ex-Colombian Soldiers Involved in Moiso’s Assassination

As was reported by NYTIMES and multiple news in the past few hours of today 9 day of July has it that two US citizens of Haitian origin and 15 ‘foreign mercenaries, who are Colombian nationals, also among them ex-Colombian soldiers have been arrested over assassination of president Moïse, Of Haiti
The of the US bodyguard, ex-Colombian soldiers were made know to the media by the Haitian police.
The alleged assassins, James Solages, 35, and Joseph Vincent, both US citizens of Haitian origin were arrested alongside the Colombian nationals.



The attack which took place in the early hours of Wednesday, July 7, in the late president’s mansion in the hills above Port-au-Prince, left his wife, Lady Martine Moise hospitalized.
One of the suspects Solage 35, is the president of a charity based in South Florida, he lives in Miami and claims to be a former bodyguard at Canada’s embassy in Haiti. A former bodyguard at Canada’s embassy in Haiti.

During a press conference on Thursday night, DAY 9 of July 2021, Léon Charles, chief of Haiti’s National Police, said,
“Foreigners came to our country to kill the president,
“There were … 26 Colombians, identified by their passports … and two Haitian Americans as well ”We are going to bring them to justice.”

Three suspects have been killed by the police while eight others are still at large, both the dead and alive suspects have been identified as Colombians.
