Prince William and Harry unveiled a statue of their mother Diana

The Loyal status: William and Harry unveil a statue of their mother Diana, the Princess of Wales, over 20 years after her death.
The ceremony took place on Thursday 1 June, a day which was supposed to be her 60th birthday.
The event took place in Kensington Palace’s redesigned Sunken Garden and it was Harry and William’s first appearance together since the burial of the Duke of Edinburgh’s which was in April 2021. In the statue, the princess was surrounded by three children.
Beneath the statue is her name, some poetry line, and the date the statue was unveiled, the statue was erected in the princess’s favorite location, according to Kensington Palace.
“Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength, and character — qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better
“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and we hope that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy,” they said in a joint statement.
The princess lost her life in 1997 in Paris, in a car crash. The princes hoped the statue will “be seen forever as a symbol of her life, her legacy” and love to mankind
